Fans have a lot of theories about who Tom Holland's brother will be playing in Spider-Man 3. While others believe Harry Holland will be one of the villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film, some think he could be Peter Parker's new ally. Luckily, Tom has finally revealed Harry's mystery role in the sequel.
Holland was recently a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon where he was promoting his upcoming movie Cherry. However, he still ended up talking about Spider-Man 3 and finally addressed brother Harry's role in the MCU flick.
"He has a small cameo in Cherry; he plays a character called 'The Shaky Kid' and he's a drug dealer. So we kind of have this idea in every film I would be in that Harry would reprise his role as 'The Shaky Kid,'" Holland stated. "So he is back again in his own sort of weird MCU cinematic universe cameo as the ecstasy-dealing shaky kid."
Interestingly, Holland continued by sharing some details about his scene with Harry where The Shaky Kid gets entangled with Spider-Man.
"In this scene, he gets flipped upside down. Spider-Man webs him upside down. And then he's swinging back and forth while I'm having an argument with someone he's kind of swinging through the frame," Holland said. He then admitted that he decided to play around with Harry in this particular sequence.
"I've obviously done that for years, being upside down is second nature for me now, so I know how difficult it can be. So at the beginning of the day, I was like making the takes extra, extra long just to see how long it would take before he'd blacked out," Holland said.
That sounds like the kind of thing that brothers would do to each other and we're hoping that Harry took it like a champ. Needless to say, we can't wait to see The Shaky Kid interacting with Spider-Man in the movie.
Spider-Man 3 also stars Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, and Tony Revolori. Benedict Cumberbatch has been confirmed to reprise his role as Doctor Strange. They will be joined by Jamie Foxx as Electro and Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus.
The still-untitled Spider-Man 3 will premiere on December 17, 2021.
