We already know that Zendaya can sing, dance, and act. But does she have what it takes to take on The Bride? Former Kill Bill star Vivica A. Fox believes that the Spider-Man 3 actress should play the adult version of her character's daughter in a possible sequel to the Quentin Tarantino films.
Kill Bill Vol. 1 featured one of the scenes that teased on what could happen in a possible sequel. The Bride (Uma Thurman) goes after Vernita Green (Fox) in her own home to take revenge for the latter's attempt to assassinate her. Sadly, the Bride kills Vernita in front of her young daughter Nikki. However, she also tells the little girl that she will be waiting for Nikki if the child decides to avenge her mother in the future.
Well, the time may have finally come and Fox already knows who should play the adult Nikki. In an interview with NME, the Independence Day star admitted that she hasn't "got any official word" since she felt that Tarantino is waiting on Ambrosia Kelley, the actress who originally played Nikki, "to grow up a little bit." Fox then stated that she had been previously asked who should portray Nikki and although her initial response was for Kelley to take on the role, it became clear that they needed "an established actress."
"So I went, 'Zendaya!' How hot would that be? And that would probably green light this project. Because her and Uma are both very tall, and it would just be kick-butt, and I love her," Fox concluded.
We have to agree with Fox on this one and it would be exciting to see Zendaya take on Thurman. However, it's also important to remember that Kill Bill Vol. 3 has not yet been confirmed. Nevertheless, we're hoping that Tarantino realizes it's time for a sequel and chose Zendaya for the role.
