Spider-Man 3 Star Tom Holland Reacts to Back To The Future Deepfake With Robert Downey Jr

Have you seen that amazing deepfake video of Back to The Future that features the faces of Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr.? It's a truly jawdropping video that already has fans wondering if the Avengers: Endgame stars will actually do a remake of the beloved sci-fi classic. However, Holland isn't too pleased with what he has seen.

Holland recently spoke to Access while promoting his new animated film Onward. When asked whether he has seen the Back to the Future deepfake, the Cherry star admitted that he has watched it but it wasn't exactly something to be happy about.

"My immediate reaction was, 'Someone stole my face!' I was like, 'I should call my lawyer because that's definitely illegal,'" Holland said although he still added, "It's pretty amazing."

Not surprisingly, Holland was eager to share the video with Downey who had a more hilarious reaction. "I sent it to Robert and was like, 'So when do we start shooting?'" Holland said.

So are they planning to do a remake of Back to the Future? Holland was quick to say that that's one classic that shouldn't be messed with. "No, that's one of the only perfect movies ever made, and we couldn't do it any better," he said.

We totally agree with Holland on this one. For now, fans can continue to expect the young actor to keep playing Peter Parker in the still-untitled Spider-Man 3.

Holland will reunite with Endgame co-star Chris Pratt in Onward, which is scheduled for release on March 6.
