Despite Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' initial denial, Spider-Man fans are still convinced that both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will reprise their respective web-slinger roles in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home.
If you haven't been keeping up with the latest rumors, there's been speculation that both Maguire and Garfield will, in fact, join the star-studded cast of the MCU's third Spidey flick. Quite frankly, if you take Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx's involvement in the film, it makes absolute sense for both studios to bring their enemies back.
We're only a few months away from No Way Home's premiere and the anticipation has already been building amongst fans who have been eager to witness the return of their beloved Spider-Men. Now, more evidence points to Tobey appearing in the project as the Brazilian voice actor of the original Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy took to social media to tease his involvement in the Portuguese-dubbed version of the film.

On Instagram, voice actor Manolo Rey responded to a fan who asked if he'll return to voice Maguire in Spider-Man 3. Naturally, Rey chose to play coy about his possible involvement in the project but his thumbs up at the end of the video seem to indicate that he will in fact voice Peter Parker once again. I've said this countless times over the last couple of months, Spider-Man: No Way Home has the potential to be the greatest crossover project in superhero film history, and Marvel and Sony would be foolish not to bring Maguire and Garfield back. Fans have been clamoring for it for years now and with the MCU set to dive into the multiverse, now is the perfect time to bring together all three Spider-Men from different dimensions.
Spider-Man: No Way Home hits cinemas on December 17, 2021.
