Spectacular Full Trailer for 'The BFG' Gives a First Look at the Giant We've Been Waiting For

Disney has just released the first full trailer for its upcoming new fantasy film, The BFG, and it is both stunning and intimidating at the same time.

The BFG is a film that combines “the talents of three of the world’s greatest storytellers – Roald Dahl, Walt Disney and Steven Spielberg” – and the movie’s full trailer indeed appears to be a testament to this fact. 

The magic is already portrayed right from the beginning of the trailer and the adventure further unfolds with each new scene from the movie, while keeping us wanting to see more in theaters. By contrast to The BFG’s initial trailer, the new full one provides a first look at the titular Big Friendly Giant himself, who is voiced by Academy Award winner Mark Rylance (Bridge of Spies). We also get a glimpse of the stunning Dream Country, looking impressive with striking visuals that will be perfect for 3D.

There are a lot of summer blockbuster films set for release this year and The BFG looks to be one film that will please the imagination and the child in every moviegoer.

Spielberg’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The BFG will hit theaters on July 1.
