Sophie Turner’s Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones is a loyal wife to Tyrion Lannister. Giving quick licks are just part of that trait.
On Monday’s episode of Conan, Turner explained that viral photo of hers licking Tyrion’s mask during last year’s Comic-Con. The photos spread on the internet because of TMZ.
Conan O’Brien pointed out that some people thought she was licking the real Peter Dinklage, who played Tyrion in the hit HBO series.
The 20-year-old Game of Thrones jokingly told the host:
Listen, I don’t remember a huge amount of this night. It’s Comic-Con. You know how it is. It’s Comic-Con.
Turner said that a fan came up to her with the mask and she added:
Being the loyal wife that I am, I just gave him a quick lick.
As for what she had to say about people thinking the mask was the real Dinklage, Sophie also joked:
Yeah, a lot of people thought it was Peter. I’m not going to do anything to dispel those rumors, Peter’s a sexy guy. But he has a wife, so I don’t think he’d be too pleased with a lick in the face.

Clearly, Turner was just having fun at Comic-Con. Good thing she can handle issues like this well. Her interview is actually pretty entertaining.
