Sophie Turner Didn't Enjoy Working With Bryan Singer on X-Men: Apocalypse

Sophie Turner has a big 2019 ahead of her, not only preparing for the big Game of Thrones finale but also being a part of X-Men: Dark Phoenix. This will be Fox's second attempt at a live-action adaptation of the Dark Phoenix saga and is also the second X-Men film of Turner, who first appeared in the poorly-received X-Men: Apocalypse.

During an interview with Rolling Stone, Turner revealed something that most fans are used to hearing these days; working with Bryan Singer isn't fun. Maybe it's due to the controversy that surrounds Singer these days but people don't really have good things to say about him, aside from the fact that he made three good X-Men movies, with Days of Future Past, in particular, being amazing.

Turner simply shared, "Our time together was, like Rami said, unpleasant." She is referring to Rami Malek, who didn't have a great time making Bohemian Rhapsody with Singer, as he didn't even bother thanking the X-Men director during the Oscars. It seems like Singer is growing more and more unpopular these days, which is understandable since the director is facing multiple allegations of being a pedophile.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix comes out this June. Hopefully, Turner had a better time working on this movie then she did in Apocalypse.
