Sony Reveals Zombieland 2’s Official Title With New Poster

Last summer, Sony decided to greenlight the Zombieland 2 script that original Zombieland writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese have been working on a few years back. Now, with filming set to begin, Sony has decided to drop a first look poster at the Zombieland sequel showcasing the film's official title along with a brand new look for Woody Harrelson's Tallahassee, Jesse Eisenberg's Columbus, Emma Stone's Wichita, and Abigail Breslin's Little Rock.

Making use of the #10YearChallenge that's been trending on social media, the official Zombieland Twitter account dropped the first official poster for the film's upcoming sequel. Titled Zombieland: Doubletap, Sony's upcoming zombie movie reminds fans of one of the major rules that Columbus has for surviving the zombie apocalypse: double tapping.

Check out Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita, and Little Rock's new look in the Twitter post down below:

While the events of Doubletap might be a decade apart from the first Zombieland movie, the group's managed to weather the zombie apocalypse pretty well. Not only does the tight-knight group seem well-kempt, but they also seem pretty healthy too.

However, the rumored plot of Doubletap says that the originally tight-knight group aren't going to stay so close in the Zombieland sequel with reports saying Columbus and Wichita are to have a fight that would lead to Little Rock running away.

Not only are we going to see new types of zombies in the adventure that ensues, but we'll also get to see new human characters, one of which will capture Tallahassee's attention.

Zombieland: Double Tap is set to premiere on October 11, 2019.
