Sony and Konami are Reportedly Reviving Silent Hills With Hideo Kojima

Konami and Hideo Kojima might be working together on Silent Hills, which might just be called Silent Hill? What is this, a miracle from God himself? Well, if this rumor is to be believed then it looks like we're going to get an amazing game soon as reports are claiming that this will be a PlayStation 5 game with Sony doing the publishing. Us fans would give a kidney and a toe to make this game possible and we can only hope that's the case, though readers should take this with a grain of salt.

The reports come from Rely on Horror and industry insider Aesthetic Gamer, both of whom have proven to be reliable when it comes to video game news. Even ComicBook.com claims that they have heard some rumblings about this project so it would be pretty neat if this ends up being the case. For the sake of gamers everywhere, let's hope the news is true.

For those unaware, Silent Hills was revealed when Konami released a critically-acclaimed demo called P.T. which was short for "playable teaser." It was a first-person horror experience that had players going through a creepy house filled with ghosts as they try and escape. If players end up finishing the demo, we see that the character we were using was Norman Reedus and the words Silent Hills then appear on the screen

Apparently, they might just call the game Silent Hill to make things easier and more marketable but it's a change no one will hate. Expect more news from us if this ends up being true.
