Viewers might see a familiar face in the upcoming K-drama as Song Joong Ki’s agency confirmed the actor’s special appearance in Little Women.
The soon-to-be-released tvN series stars Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun and Park Ji Hoo from All of Us Are Dead, is based on a popular novel of the same name.
Helmed by the Money Flower, Fated to Love You and Vincenzo director Kim Hee Won, the story focuses on the Oh siblings and their family encountering an incident involving the country’s wealthiest family,
Set to premiere on September 3 via tvN and Netflix, Kim Go Eun’s new drama will also feature Song Joong Ki.
Little Women to feature Song Joong Ki as a Guest?
In a report cited by Korea Joongang Daily, Song Joong Ki’s agency, History D&C shared upcoming activities of the Hallyu star including a cameo in Little Women.
"Song Joong Ki will make a special appearance as he knows the director Kim Hee Won of Little Women," the label revealed.
As mentioned, Kim Go Eun’s new drama and Vincenzo, where the actor played the role of a Korean-Italian mafia lawyer named Vincenzo Cassano, are both directed by Kim Hee Won.
Following the announcement, netizens expressed their excitement to see Song Joong Ki’s special appearance in the upcoming K-drama.
It can be recalled that the South Korean heartthrob has appeared in selected K-dramas. It includes the 2016 series The Sound of Your Heart starring Lee Kwang Soo, Jung So Min, and Kim Dae Myung where Song Joong Ki appeared as webtoon writer and Lee Kwang Soo’s friend in episode 1.
It was then followed by another K-drama appearance in the action thriller series Man to Man where he portrayed the role of banker in episode 9.

The forthcoming revenge series is the Hallyu star’s comeback to the small screen, following the massive success of his hit 2020 K-drama Vincenzo with Jeon Yeo Been.
Two years after the crime drama dominated the Hallyu world, Song Joong Ki is back with a web novel series, helmed by Jeong Dae Yun of King2Hearts, W, She Was Pretty and I'm Not a Robot.
The 36-year-old star will transform as Yoon Hyun Woo, a loyal employee of a chaebol, who was framed for embezzlement and was murdered by his colleagues.
Interestingly, he will have his much-awaited revenge and was reborn as his former boss’ youngest son named Jin Do Joon.
With his new identity, he is set to have his revenge with the mission of taking over the conglomerate.
Joining Song Joong Ki as lead stars of The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate is Hospital Playlist actress Shin Hyun Bin as prosecutor Seo Min Young of the anti-corruption department, while veteran actor Lee Sung Min will be the conglomerate’s chairman, Jin Yang Chul.
Interestingly, the Hallyu star will be reunited with his Vincenzo co-star Jo Han Chul who took the role of Jin Dong Ki.
Adding to the list of The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate cast are Kim Nam Hee, Kim Shin Rok, Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany, and more.
From K-drama to movies, Song Joong Ki is booked and busy as the actor is set to headline back-to-back films.
In addition to his much-awaited movie Bogotá: City of the Lost, the Hallyu star will star in the new noir movie Hwaran.
