Song Joong Ki dishes on his experience and thoughts about his K-drama comeback Reborn Rich.
The latest JTBC series is taking the world by storm as the web novel-based series, also known as the Youngest Son of a Conglomerate, is gaining massive hype from viewers.
On top of it, the Song Joong Ki-led K-drama has been getting high viewership since it premiered.
In an exclusive interview with Soompi, the Hallyu star spoke about playing dual roles and working alongside veteran actors.
Song Joong Ki on His Working Relationship with Lee Sung Min and Shin Hyun Bin
The 37-year-old actress lauded his co-stars Lee Sung Min and Shin Hyun Bin who also appeared as lead stars in the web novel based series.
According to the report, Song Joong Ki pointed out that he and the veteran actor had a “very natural chemistry.
“He often put me first and was very considerate of me, so we could match each other’s acting even without elaborate conversations,” he said, praising his senior actor.
Moreover, he also mentioned that he looked forward to working with Lee Sung Min and acting alongside him in Reborn Rich “was indeed a great experience.”
In the JTBC series, viewers lauded the duo’s interaction portraying the grandfather and Soonyang Group’s chairman while Song Joong Ki took the role of Jin Do Joon, the third-generation chaebol.
As for the female lead Shin Hyun Bin, he said that he had not worked with the actress before and Reborn Rich was their first drama together.
For Song Joong Ki, he described his female co-star as someone who has a “very wide perspective” in acting and has an “instinctive nature to be considerate of others.”
In addition, the top star revealed that the actress helped him a lot during the production and has maintained good chemistry on screen.
As mentioned, Shin Hyun Bin plays the fearless prosecutor named Seo Min Young who will team up with Jin Do Joon against the Soonyang Group.
Interestingly, viewers recognized the 36-year-old actress in the hit medical K-drama Hospital Playlist and the thriller drama Monstrous with Goo Kyo Hwan.
On the other hand, Lee Sung Min played the chief prosecutor in Juvenile Justice together with Kim Hye Soo.

Song Joong Ki On Playing Dual Roles
From soldier to mafia, it seemed like there was nothing Song Joong Ki can’t do. Adding to the list of his achievements is playing a dual role.
In the same interview, he mentioned that playing two characters was tough. However, he said that it is important to pay attention to the importance of the physical appearance of the character.
“When expressing the character Yoon Hyun Woo, I wore glasses for the first time in a drama, and when I was portraying Jin Do Joon, I prepared a lot of props and outfits that college students would have actually worn and used at that time,” he said, adding that this is his way to easily navigate and “act more comfortably” for a certain role.
