Song Joong Ki’s agency, HighZium Studio, announced the actor’s plan to hold a wedding ceremony after officially announcing his marriage to girlfriend Katy Louise Saunders and his now-wife’s pregnancy.
Song Joong Ki confirmed his marriage to Saunders in a post on his fan café Monday, January 30. The couple’s romance was revealed in December 2022.

HighZium confirmed its talent would hold a wedding ceremony, though it couldn’t verify any details yet.
The Reborn Rich star officially announced they had already registered their marriage and his wife is now pregnant.

The company later confirmed the news and announced the actor’s plans.
Song Joong Ki Announces Marriage, New Baby
The 37-year-old wrote a lengthy note on his official fan café.
He wrote,
"Hello, this is Joong Ki. I wanted to share the happiest and most important promise in my life with you all. I have promised Katy Louise Saunders, who has been supporting me and sharing time together, to spend the rest of my life together.”
The Vincenzo star then described Saunders as a kind-hearted woman who has led a passionate life and is a wise and amazing person he has admired.

He continued,
“Thanks to her, I'm becoming a better person.
Naturally, we both wanted to make a happy family. We have been trying hard to keep each other's promise, and gratefully, we have welcomed a precious life between the two of us. So today, we have registered our marriage as a couple based on our deepest love and trust.”
Song Joong Ki then promised they would continue walking the same path, looking in the same direction.

He added,
“Thank you to all the fans who have been sending unchanging support from the bottom of my heart.
Especially, I will put even more passion and responsibility into becoming a better actor and person as your wish and support throughout my acting career.
