Only a few details about the imminent new series have been made public as of this writing. Despite this, devoted supporters of Song Hye Kyo are thrilled to see the K-drama superstar in another show after Now, We Are Breaking Up.
So, what is the latest update about Song Hye Kyo's The Glory series? Keep on reading to know more details.
Song Hye Kyo Likely To Have Lee Do Hyun As Her Leading Man In The Glory
Soompi reported that Lee Do Hyun is currently in talks to join Song Hye Kyo in the forthcoming new K-drama series. On Wednesday, October 13, an unnamed source told the entertainment news publication that the Youth of May star is likely to become the leading man of Song Joong Ki's former ladylove in The Glory.
Yuehua Entertainment, in response to the reports, confirmed that Lee Do Hyun indeed received an offer to be part of The Glory. However, the talent management agency made it clear that the 26-year-old K-drama actor is still reviewing things.
Should things push through, Lee Do Hyun is expected to play as Joo Yeo Jung, a carefree and fun character, in The Glory. Though he is predicted to become the prince charming of Song Hye Kyo's Dong Eun, Yeo Jung will, reportedly, become the female lead's means of revenge.
For starters, The Glory centers on the story of a high school student who wants to become an architect. However, she had to drop out of school after she suffered from brutal school violence. Interestingly, the victim becomes the teacher of her perpetrator's child. From there, she will plot and execute her revenge.
Aside from Song Hye Kyo and Lee Do Hyun, no other cast members have been named as of this writing. However, it was previously announced that Kim Eun Sook, who was the brain behind Descendants of the Sun, Goblin, The Heirs, and Secret Garden, will write The Glory. Ahn Gil Ho, on the other hand, will direct the imminent K-drama series.
