Son Ye Jin surprised fans with the latest update on her pregnancy.
Months after the bombshell news that she and Hyun Bin are expecting their first child, the couple revealed the gender of their baby as well as the due date of the actress.
As obtained by Soompi, Son Ye Jin’s agency, MSteam Entertainment, officially announced that the couple is having a baby boy. In addition, the actress is set to give birth in December.”

Moreover, the talent label also updated fans on the soon-to-be mother’s status saying that “Son Ye Jin is currently in very good health,” adding “She’s calmly preparing for the birth [of her son].”
It can be recalled that the actress made the official announcement regarding her pregnancy in June, three months after Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin’s wedding.
Sharing a photo of a flower, she hints about her pregnancy saying that a “new life” has come to the couple.
Moreover, the actress gets honest and says that she is “bewildered” and at the same time excited about her growing family.
“I’m still bewildered, and also feeling the changes in my body every day with worry and excitement. I’m so cautious about this that I did not even inform most of the people around me yet. We will protect this life that has come to us," Son Ye Jin’s Instagram caption reads.
From Power Couple to Soon-To-Be Parents
Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin confirmed their relationship in January of 2022, before wrapping the hit K-drama Crash Landing on You.
Two months after publicly dating, the couple announced surprising news through their respective agencies, confirming that they are engaged and set to tie the knot at a private ceremony in March.

What’s Next for Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin?
Besides being first-time parents, the couple are busy with their respective schedules.
While Son Ye Jin is on hiatus making K-dramas and films, she did various photoshoots and appearances for her endorsements.
In addition, she is also keeping herself busy by practicing her culinary skills which she often flaunts on social media.
On the other hand, Hyun Bin is booked and busy doing movies.
He recently reprised his role as North Korean detective Im Chul Ryung in Confidential Assignment 2: International with Hoo Hae Jin and Daniel Henney.
Interestingly, the sequel was also her big screen comeback after the 2018 film Rampant.
Besides Confidential Assignment 2: International, Hyun Bin is also set to star in Harbin with Jeon Yeo Been and Park Jung Min as well as the star-studded film The Point Men with Hwang Jung Min, Kang Ki Young, and more.
