The Korean Business Research Institute named the top 30 celebrities who dominated Brand Reputation Rankings for March.
The monthly chart was gauged through multiple factors such as consumer interest, media coverage, community indexes, the volume of communication and interaction from February 6 and March 6.
Son Ye Jin Topped Brand Reputation Rankings for March
According to Soompi, the institute hailed Son Ye Jin as first place, scoring a brand reputation index of 6,510,613.
The Hallyu star, who is currently starring in her K-drama comeback Thirty-Nine, gained high ranking keywords “announcement” and “marriage,” which refers to her upcoming wedding with Crash Landing on You star Hyun Bin this month.
On the other hand, her Thirty-Nine co-stars Yeon Woo Jin and Jeon Mi Do made it at sixth and tenth place.
She is followed by Kim Tae Ri in second place with a total of 5,380,605 points, while co-star Nam Joo Hyuk ranked third with 4,824,060 points.
The duo are lead stars in the coming-of-age K-drama Twenty Five, Twenty One, where the stress took on the role of fencing prodigy Na Hee Do and Nam Joo Hyuk as Baek Yi Jin.
Landing at the fourth spot is Song Kang, who is once again gaining popularity with his current rom-com series Forecasting Love and Weather with Park Min Young, who is at fifth place.
Interestingly, the stars of the upcoming sequel Work Later, Drink Now Season 2, Han Sun Hwa, Lee Sun Bin, Apink’s Jung Eun Ji ranked eleventh, twelfth and thirteenth respectively.
Following the announcement that the comedy K-drama is set to return for another season, tvN has yet to announce its premiere date.
