Interestingly, Woman Chosun exclusively reported on February 21 that the pair's private wedding would be held at the luxurious venue in Seoul.
According to the outlet, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin's wedding will be at Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel.
Located in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, the venue also hosted a slew of celebrity weddings, including Bae Yong Joon and Park Soo Jin in 2015, Jinusean's Sean and Jung Hye Young's ceremony in 2004, as well as the award-winning actor Ji Sung and Lee Bo Young in 2013.
Vast Entertainment Responds to Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin's Wedding Updates
Following the update regarding the much-awaited wedding of the year, Hyun Bin's agency, Vast Entertainment, released a statement regarding the update.
According to the same outlet, the management couldn't confirm or spill the tea about the upcoming ceremony.
"We do not know anything about the wedding," a representative shared, adding, "we cannot confirm the wedding because it will be held privately."
As of now, the only confirmed detail is that the wedding will be in Seoul and is set for March 2022.
Following the couple's announcement, the agency also noted that the private ceremony would only be attended by their family and a few acquaintances, given the health crisis.
To recall, fans were stunned to hear the duo's engagement announcement over social; media.
Ahead of Son Ye Jin's new drama "Thirty-Nine", the actress posted a photo of a miniature wedding gown alongside a heartfelt message to her fans.
Over the caption, the Hallyu star wrote that she is set to spend the rest of her life with none other than Hyun Bin.
Moreover, she also thanked fans and expressed how grateful she is for having them–for "always cheering" her and giving her "unconditional love" throughout the years.
Meanwhile, Hyun Bin, through his agency, expressed the same stance and described his upcoming marriage with Son Ye Jin as "the most important decision" in his life.
Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin's love story began when the duo starred in the 2018 action movie "The Negotiation."
At the time, rumor sparked that the two were dating, but their agency denied the issue; however, the universe collided after they reunited in "Crash Landing On You."
This time, after wrapping up the K-drama in 2020, Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin confirmed their relationship in January 2021.
