Solo A Star Wars Story: BTS Look at the Actual Dogs that Played the Corellian Hounds

The Star Wars movies have always been applauded for their use of practical effects, and for the Corellian hounds in Solo: A Star Wars Story, the production used actual dogs in suits to play the hounds. Thanks to The Star Wars Show, we actually get a look of the dogs in costume, and they look so adorable.

The segment starts at 2:29:

With Star Wars: The Last Jedi, they were said to have used CGI to bring the crystal foxes (vulptices) to life, but they also had some rigs for actual dogs wearing the "crystals" as well as full puppet.

Though Star Wars movies are considered to be the most polarizing among fans, there's no question that the films have always broke barriers when it came to special effects—CGI or practical. Even the prequels, for all their perceived hate, were technological marvels that opened doors to what CGI has become today.

Solo: A Star Wars Story may not have done so well in the box office, but reception-wise, reactions to the film have been very positive. Personally I enjoyed the smaller, compact story of Han; it was something we needed after the heavy catharsis that was brought on by Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
