So Ji Sub talks about the ups and downs of being married.
The 44-year-old top star publicly spoke about what it feels like being a husband to presenter Cho Eun Jeong while starring in multiple projects.
The actor joined co-stars Kim Yoon Ji of Money Heist Korea and singer-actress Nana at the press conference of the upcoming movie Confession with director Yoon Jong Seok.
At the press briefing, So Ji Sub opened up about how his life changed now that he is married.
So Ji Sub on the Advantages of Being Married
The Doctor Lawyer star shares his current status saying that he feels “so happy after getting married.”
On contrary to what others say about having a forever partner, marriage feels like a trap to a person, for So Ji Sub, he revealed that he feels “more stable” now that he is the head of the household instead of being single.
“I didn't really know that I would get this feeling myself, but I actually do feel much more stable than before. I also don't have insomnia anymore. I feel a lot more mature in every way as well,” he said, as obtained by SBS Star.
Moreover, he also pointed out that he “strongly recommends” marriage adding that the feeling of stability helped him with his insomnia and says that he becomes “more mature psychologically."

So Ji Sub Talks About Weight Gain
As the press conference continued, he was asked about the changes physically confirming that he gained weight after the wedding.
So Ji Sub said that he put on about 10kg, especially in his early days of marriage.
At the time, he had to undergo a strict diet for a project; hence he and his wife couldn't bond over food.
“As my diet went on for quite a long time, I felt really bad,” he said. Because of his guilt, he chose to spend time with Cho Eun Jeong by having meals together.
“I started having a meal with my wife from then,” he said and shared that they “would go out to eat and stuff, so... It was hard to keep the numbers low on the scale."
Confession is So Ji Sub’s next big screen project after the hit movie Alien with Kim Tae Ri, Kim Woo Bin, and Ryu Jun Yeol.
In addition, he recently wrapped up his K-drama suspense thriller series Doctor Lawyer with Shin Sung Rok and Im Soo Hyang.
