The premiere of Snowpiercer Season 2 is still a few months away but we finally have a glimpse at what to expect in the next chapter of the dystopian drama. The first teaser for the second season confirms its release date and finally brings in Sean Bean's Mr. Wilford facing off against Daveed Diggs' Andre Layton.
The teaser, which debuted at the show's panel at New York Comic-Con, opens with Mr. Wilford introducing himself as the conductor. "We're only moments away from righting the reprehensible wrong that has befallen our great eternal engine," he declares. In the meantime, Andre has a completely different message.
"Every revolution begins as a seed, it festers and spreads like wildfire until the gates are kicked down and the castle is stormed," Andre shoots back.
Interestingly, their messages are complete opposites but they do agree on one thing in the end. "It's only just begun," they say.

Mr. Wilford isn't the only surprise character from the first season who will play a larger role in Season 2. It was also confirmed that Alexandra Cavill (Rowan Blanchard) will be a major part of the new chapter.
Snowpiercer Season 2 will premiere on TNT on January 25, 2021.
