Slam Dunk: A Classic and Timeless Sports Series

It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1990 to 1996 and can be collected into 31 tankobon volumes.
Eventually, the manga was adapted into an anime by Toei Animation and aired from 1993 to 1996.
Slam Dunk was famous not only in Japan but also around the world. With this, it is not surprising that its manga sold more than 120 million copies worldwide.
There were four films released by Toei Animation, with the most recent one having been released in December 2022 in Japan.
The First Slam Dunk Movie Release Date

The movie theater chain, Cinemark, confirmed that it will release The First Slam Dunk in the US.
However, no specific release dates have been confirmed as of writing.
We predict that the movie will be available in the third quarter of 2023, which is the same schedule for Ireland and the UK.
