Netflix officially announced the return of Single's Inferno for season 2.
The reality dating show became a huge hit after its global release in December 2021 through January 2022.
The eight-part episode show introduced 12 gorgeous participants who are in search of genuine connection and are stuck on the island known as the "inferno."
Single's Inferno cast members include the fan-favorite Song Ji Ah, Kim Hyeon Joong, Choi Si Hun, An Yea Won, Kang So Yeon, Seong Min Ji, Moon Se Hoon, Oh Jin Taek, Shin Ji Yeon, Kim Jun Sik, Kim Su Min, and Cha Hyun Seung.
While fans are looking forward to the possibility of the reality dating show returning for another season, Netflix teased the viewers with surprising news.
Netflix Confirms Single's Inferno Season 2
The streaming giant formally confirmed that the South Korean dating show is making a comeback.
Over its official Twitter account, Netflix announced that viewers would get to see a "fiercer, bolder, flashier, steamier, and wilder" Single's Inferno season 2.
As the platform gears up for the much-awaited sequel, local media outlets noted that the streaming giant is searching for the next participants and will recruit possible cast members through their official social media channels.
While Single's Inferno season 2 will also be co-produced by Sijak Company and JTBC, the reality dating show creators Kim Jae Won and Kim Na Hyun will be back on board.
In addition, the upcoming season will be under the direction of Ji Hyun Sook and Lee Jeong Hwa.
Following the confirmation for the highly anticipated season, Netflix has yet to unveil the target release date of the show.

There's no doubt that the eight-part episode reality series is one of the most hyped dating shows of 2022. Due to this, Single's Inferno made it to Netflix's Top 10 Non-English TV list for three straight weeks.
