Shonen Jump to Launch Three New Manga Titles

The 49th issue of this year’s Japanese magazine Weekly Shonen Jump announced that there would be three new manga series to be released in its next three issues.

In a report by Anime News Network, the first manga to launch in the magazine is titled Ayashimon by Yuji Kaku. Not much info has been released about this series so far except that it is going to be an “underside of society battle” kind of story. Shonen Jump however confirmed that its first chapter will have a total of 54 pages, this includes an opening color page. The 50th issue will also feature Ayashimon on the cover.

This isn’t Kaku’s first manga under the publisher Shueisha, though. Kaku released Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku manga series in January 2018 in the Shonen Jump+ service. The series ended on January 25 this year.

The second manga to launch in the magazine would be Mamore! Shogomaru by Daiki Ihara. The series’ first chapter is slated to be released on November 22 on the magazine's 51st issue. Shonen Jump describes the new series as a “school activities gag” series and the manga’s main protagonist will be centered on a strange bodyguard.

The third manga will be Doron Doron by Kagen Osu. It will be released on November 29 on the magazine’s 52nd issue. The series will center on defeating evil supernatural yokai creatures.

Weekly Shonen Jump or Shonen Jump is no stranger to manga fans as the magazine released popular series like Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece. The popularity of these manga titles has paved way for anime adaptations as well as other media forms.

With Shonen Jump being like a household name for anime and manga fans alike, there could be a chance that we would get to see these new manga titles having their own anime adaptations in the near future.
