The forthcoming Kdrama Doctor Lawyer is a touching and cathartic drama about a brilliant surgeon who loses everything he had worked hard for after a fake operation. He now lives as a medical malpractice lawyer.
Alongside him is a prosecutor from the Medical Crimes Department who is also going through a difficult time after losing all of his loved ones.
Doctor Lawyer will depict the story of these two who will punish those who believe that the value of a person’s life can be measured based on their wealth and influence.
Shin Sung Rok Confirms Participation In The New MBC Kdrama Doctor Lawyer With So Ji Sub, Im Soo Hyang
Recently, So Ji Sub has confirmed that he will portray the character of Han Yi Han, a medical malpractice lawyer who used to be a genius surgeon.
Shin Sung Rok has also raised the green light as he announced his role as Jayden Lee, the head of the Asian branch of Honors Hand, a company that specializes in lobbying and investment.
Im Soo Hyang will play opposite So Ji Sub’s character. Further details about her role are still unrevealed. The Gangnam Beauty actress is currently filming for the Korean remake of Jane the Virgin.

MBC Kdrama Doctor Lawyer Release Date
Doctor Lawyer will be written by Jang Hong Chul (Mr. Temporary) and directed by Lee Yong Suk (The Village: Achiara’s Secret). The series will consist of 16 episodes and is expected to air on MBC sometime in the first half of 2022.
