She-Hulk: Tim Roth Hints Hulk vs. Abomination Rematch in Upcoming Episode

Tim Roth made his MCU return this year in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law 14 years after he last appeared as Emil Blonsky in 2008's The Incredible Hulk which starred Edward Norton as the titular hero at that time. His comeback was welcomed by fans and also made them wonder if we'll ever see him interact again with the Hulk in the series.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Roth seemingly hinted that we might be seeing a Hulk vs. Abomination rematch in an upcoming episode of the series as he revealed that he filmed a scene with Mark Ruffalo where they "messed around." However, he's not sure yet if it made it to the final cut.

"I’ve always wanted to work with [Mark Ruffalo], and it just happened to be this, which was kind of fun. But we messed around with [the recasting]," Roth said. "I don’t know if any of it made it into [She-Hulk], but when I looked at him as we were shooting, I was like, ‘You’ve put on weight. There’s something about you …’ So it was that kind of stuff. We messed around, and we were encouraged to improvise and play. So we dealt with [the recasting]."

Considering that we saw Hulk in a Sakaarian ship that is on its way to Sakaar, there is the likelihood that the scene that Roth mentioned didn't end up making it on the final cut and it will simply be a deleted scene that none of us will ever get to see.

However, there are six episodes left in the series so there is still room for another Hulk vs. Abomination rematch that fans would definitely love to see happen and it will certainly be one of the highlights of the series if it still made it into the final cut in an upcoming episode.

Right now, it is still unknown yet if Ruffalo will return in an upcoming episode, but we do know that Roth will continue to appear in the series despite his character's parole case being over. Either way, we will be getting more of Emil Blonsky/Abomination in the series and hopefully one of them is going to be an interaction with the Hulk.
