Shazam! Fury of the Gods surely is a highly-anticipated film and it is currently filming headed by Shazam! himself, Zachary Levi, and new set photos have revealed that he would be donning a new suit, one which is much sleeker than what he used to wear before.
In a photo shared by JustJared.com on Twitter, it could be seen that Shazam!'s new costume has been made cooler than it was before sans the cape and glowing part on the bolt which are possibly going to be made by CGI, maybe. It is still in its classic red and gold theme but is sure is way less bulky than what he had before, plus it seems that the costume has more texture as well with some hints of silver, too. His belt looks different and his gauntlets are much more defined now than it is before.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods is currently filming in Union City Georgia where the said photos were taken and with the timeframe given for the film, it seems that it started quire early in the filming, maybe because there are a lot of scenes to do, or they just need enough time on the production and post-production phase to make yet another epic film.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods is within the DC Extended Universe and it is starred by Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Faithe Herman, Grace Fulton, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Marta Milans, Jack Dylan Grazer, Cooper Andrews, and Rachel Zegler. Also in the cast are big names such as that of Lucy Liu, and Helen Mirren.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods is currently scheduled for release on June 2, 2023.
