It's no secret how a lot of fans would go to great lengths all in the spirit of pure unadulterated fandom but there's one particular DC fanatic who might've taken things to the extreme that it comes across a little too unusual. In fact, he's gotten the attention of Shazam! director David F. Sandberg for his geek shrine which is totally out of this world. Wait until you see it!

The fan in question is David Gomez, a hardcore DC devotee who took to Twitter to share a photo of his DCEU shrine which features the franchise's most notable directors — Zack Snyder, Patty Jenkins, James Wan, and Sandberg himself all depicted as religious figures. He also added in The Dark Knight trilogy director Christopher Nolan to the mix for good measure. Not gonna lie, it looks hella creepy and his room's dimmed lighting only makes it much freakier. Check it out here:

The image is quite unsettling and the fan was successful in catching the attention of the Fury of the Gods director who said that although he appreciates the post, it did creep him out.

He did clarify however that he admired the gesture all things considered. In a subsequent tweet, he simply said, "I like it."

Speaking of the Shazam! the sequel, we still know very little about the upcoming DCEU flick but one thing is for certain, Sandberg and his crew, along with the film's cast led by Zachary Levi will probably get more creative freedom this time around. The first film was a massive gamble on DC's part considering it was their first attempt at doing something that has a more lighthearted tone similar to Marvel. Obviously, the strategy paid off big time and the first one became a sleeper hit.

Other details about Shazam! Fury of the Gods is still being kept under wraps.
