Shazam! Director Finally Reveals The Voice Behind Mister Mind

There is little doubt that one of the most awesome scenes in Shazam! was the revelation that the mysterious little caterpillar in the film's first few minutes was actually a DC comic book villain. However, we never really learned who provided the voice of Mister Mind in the post-credits scene. Luckily, director David F. Sandberg has just debunked the mystery.

Sandberg recently took part in a Quarantine Watch Party of Shazam! and the filmmaker has revealed several interesting things about the movie throughout the viewing. One of these revelations was the person who voiced Mister Mind.

That's right, the voice that came from Mister Mind's radio box belonged to Sandberg. Not surprisingly, fans were thrilled with the revelation and have wondered if the director will continue to voice the villain in Shazam 2. Although Sandberg has not yet responded to fans' questions about his return in the sequel, we wouldn't be surprised if the filmmaker continues to provide the voice for the evil little caterpillar.

But when will we get any updates on Shazam 2? For now, it looks like Sandberg is still developing the film and it might be a long time before it begins production due to the Coronavirus outbreak. However, it is believed that the sequel is expected to start filming as soon as possible considering that its young stars are growing fast. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Shazam 2 is expected to bring back Angel Asher and Zachary Levi as Billy Batson and his alter ego. The sequel is scheduled for release on April 1, 2022.
