Shazam 2 New Trailer Coming Sooner Than Expected

We're now just a few months away from Shazam! Fury of the Gods hitting theaters. While the DCU franchise is currently undergoing some massive changes, a lot of fans are still looking forward to seeing the titular hero's next journey as he is becoming a staple in the franchise (at least for now).

Some time ago, we got our first glimpse of the film when Warner Bros. released the first trailer where they promised another fun adventure with Billy Batson and the Shazam family as well as a new compelling group of villains headed by award-winning actress Helen Mirren.

As we are waiting for the film's release, it looks like we will finally get another look at the sequel as Warner Bros. Brazil revealed on their Instagram story that the new trailer for Shazam! Fury of the Gods is set to arrive this Thursday, January 26.

It is certainly exciting to know that the new trailer is coming very soon and we don't need to wait any longer for a brand-new look at the film. It would be interesting to see what they have in store and which details will they reveal more as we're anticipating its release.

The synopsis of the film reads: "when Billy Batson and his foster siblings, who transform into superheroes by saying "Shazam!", are forced to get back into action and fight the Daughters of Atlas, they must stop them from using a weapon that could destroy the world in which they must travel in order to make peace with the Gods because of Billy taking their powers for granted."

The cast includes Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu, Rachel Zegler, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Ian Chen, Meagan Good, Faithe Herman, Djimon Hounsou, and Grace Fulton. David F. Sandberg returned to direct the film.
