Reacher is an action crime series on Amazon Prime Video developed by Nick Santora. The series follows the Jack Reacher book franchise, which was written by Lee Child.
The first season was based on the 1997 debut novel of Child entitled Killing Floor. The second season is based on the events from the book, Bad Luck and Trouble.
A third season of the show has reportedly been ordered ahead of Reacher Season 2's premiere.
This is not a huge surprise since Reacher has always been a big hit among its fans. Before getting adapted into a TV series, the book franchise was made into a movie, which starred Tom Cruise as the titular character. For the TV adaptation, the role of Jack Reacher is portrayed by Alan Ritchson.

Is Shannon Kook in Reacher? What is His Role?
Yes, Shannon Kook-Chun is in Reacher Season 2. The character that he is playing is Tony Swan, one of Jack Reacher's teammates from the 110th MP Special Investigations unit of the US Army.
Swan is the third member of Reacher's team that goes missing. He, along with Calvin Franz (played by Luke Bilyk), has been captured and tortured. Franz was even killed by getting thrown off a helicopter.
Because of this, Reacher and his old team reconnect once more to look for whoever was behind the torture and murders. They also need to do this to stop him from doing further harm to their teammates.
Who is Shannon Kook-Chun?
Shannon Kook-Chun is a 36-year-old actor from South Africa. The actor was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. His parents are of Mauritian-Chinese and South African descent.
He later moved to Montreal to pursue his interest in acting. He attended the National Theatre School of Canada.
Reacher Season 2 is a reunion project of Bilyk and Kook-Chun since they both appeared on Degrassi: The Next Generation.
You may also recall Kook-Chun in Nancy Drew, Shadowhunters, and The 100. More recently, he starred in the horror franchise, The Conjuring as Drew Thomas.
