Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is set to make its debut in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, marking the introduction of the franchise's first Asian headlining hero. Production for the movie began back in February but was shut down because of the coronavirus pandemic. Now, filming has resumed and Simu Liu is continuing to tease fans by sharing a video that shows off his martial arts skills.

Taking to Instagram, Liu shared a clip of him doing a somersault, essentially giving a glimpse of what to expect from his heroic character. The background doesn't necessarily reveal where this was filmed but given that co-star Ronnie Chieng filmed the clip, it seems likely that they're on set. The field is similar to that of the location where the set was built from a video that surfaced weeks ago too. You can check out his post below!

Plot details about Shang-Chi are still under wraps and fans have yet to see a good first-look at the upcoming MCO movie. That said, Liu's recent posts are enough to excite the fans of what's to come.

With theaters closed and there's no telling what happens in the next few months due to the pandemic, it's uncertain whether Shang-Chi will keep its current release date. Hopefully, the cast and crew safely wrap up filming to be on track for the movie's debut.

Alongside Liu, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings stars Awkwafina and Tony Leung, to be released on May 2021.
