Shang-Chi Finally Unveils Awesome Fin Fang Foom Connection

Fans have been hoping that Fin Fang Foom would appear in Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings. Unfortunately, the two possible appearances of the dragon-like villain that were teased in the trailer have since been debunked.

So is there any chance that Fin Fang Foom will get his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Shang-Chi? A new poster teases a possible connection to the comic book baddie.

People initially believed that Fin Fang Foom appeared in the Shang-Chi trailer. There was a dragon shown underwater and a green creature going up against Wong in the first teaser. However, the dragon was actually the Great Protector while the green creature has been confirmed to be Abomination.

It's highly unlikely that Fin Fang Foom is in the movie but the Shang-Chi IMAX poster seems to confirm that we'll get to see another member of the same species as the space dragon. Check it out below.

The dragon on the left is The Great Protector while the dragon on the right appears to be a Markuan, the shape-shifting species that Fin Fang Foom belongs to. We're really hoping that this could be Fin Fang Foom himself in a different form but there is a good chance that this is an ancient relative that could be part of the Ten Rings' origins.

Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and stars Simu Liu, Awkwafina, Awkwafina, Meng'er Zhang, Fala Chen, Florian Munteanu, Benedict Wong, Michelle Yeoh, and Tony Leung. The film will premiere on September 3, 2021.
