Simu Liu's journey that led him to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is an epic and awe-inspiring tale that is definitely worth revisiting. To those unaware, the Canadian actor who is now starring in his own Marvel film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has been lobbying for years to become part of the successful media franchise and while his MCU aspirations seemed too unattainable for a time, it turns out that fate was actually on his side the entire time.
The Kim's Convenience actor is living every kid and kid-at-heart's dream for sure and it's still quite evident in the aura he exudes and the way he presents himself that he's truly humbled and ecstatic to be a part of it all which is totally amazing. Taking to social media on the opening day of Shang-Chi, Liu looked back on his long journey to get to where he is right now and according to him, the film is a culmination of all their hard work.
The Marvel newcomer also added that he's glad to be making MCU history with the project and quite frankly, he's not wrong as the film marked a lot of firsts in the billion-dollar franchise which is quite a feat especially for a newbie like him. Check out his tweet below:

I don't know about you but Marvel Studios certainly made the right call by giving the Shang-Chi role to Simu because he's pretty much running with the ball he was given. And judging by how the film turned out to be, it's safe to assume that the powers that be have huge plans for the character and he just might end up becoming one of the key players in the MCU not only in Phase Four but in the upcoming phases as well.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is now screening in cinemas in North America.
