Shaman King (2021) Episode 31 just got released, starting the 4-episode long Osorezan arc, a fan favourite. Opinions still vary about the new, more faithful adaptation, as it allows long-time fans to watch scenes they have waited for years. Others think that too much is adapted too fast.
Most fans in the West have to wait to form an opinion for the time being, as the newest episodes are slow to come on Netflix, but hopefully, an announcement will change that soon. Meanwhile, here's all you need to know about Shaman King (2021) Episode 31:
Shaman King (2021) Overview and Episode 30 Highlights
Shaman King is based on a 1998-2004 shonen manga. As is the case with many popular works, the manga received an anime adaptation while still ongoing, meaning that the ending the creators intended for us never made it to our screens. Instead, the reboot is faithful to the manga.
Shaman King follows Yoh Asakura, who fights to become the best among shamans an all-powerful being with the ability to summon spirits and manipulate the world according to their will. To achieve his dream, Yoh must come victorious out of a competition that only takes place once every 500 years.
Episode 30, we get the long-awaited flashback of Yoh and Anna's first meeting, as well as more insights into the Hana-Guma team. Matamune also got more screen time to fans' delight.
