Netflix's Sex/Life Season 2 Reportedly Filming in Toronto

Production on Netflix's Sex/Life Season 2 has reportedly started in Toronto, Canada.

The show. For those unfamiliar, Sex/Life is one of the biggest hits Netflix released in 2021, and fans are excited to watch new episodes of this popular American romance drama that follows a suburban mother of two who takes a sexually-charged trip down to memory lane that sets her very married present on a collision course with her wild past. If you've already finished the entire first season of Sex/Life, you'd know that its story is not over yet.

The first season premiered in June 2021 with eight episodes, and it quickly became one of the most-talked-about shows, mostly thanks to a naughty viral scenes (Ladies, you know what I'm talking about!). Netflix already renewed the series last August for Season 2, and now, Sex/Life Season 2 has reportedly started filming and production is expected to wrap up this spring. The set production schedule for the drama hasn't been confirmed yet, but based on recent updates from the cast and crew's social media accounts, it looks like there's truth to the rumor.

When did Sex/Life Season 2 reportedly start filming?

According to a recent report by What's on Netflix, principal photography is set to begin on Feb. 7 and end on April 25. If production actually already started on Feb. 7, this means that as of Feb. 9, the series is already on its third day of production.

This shouldn't surprise fans who have been keeping up with the social media of the cast and crew of Sex/Life.

In December 2021, Sarah Shahi, who plays the lead Billy Connelly, shared a photo of herself on Instagram with the script of Sex/Life Season 2. Her caption reads: "And the student prepares..."

On Jan. 25, Mike Vogel, who plays Cooper, shared a photo on his Instagram of him working out to prepare for Season 2. On Jan. 28, Adam Demos shared a production still of him from the first season with the caption confirming that it's almost time to begin the production of Season 2.

Last month, Stacy Rukeyser, one of the show's executive producers, took it to Instagram to share a photo of herself and her husband during their date night, and its caption reveals that she's going to Toronto in a week. Even though she didn't mention that she was heading to Toronto, it's known that it's the location of Sex/Life's production.

Earlier this month, Rukeyser shared a photo of herself and a couple of Sex/Life crew members in Toronto on Instagram, and its caption confirmed that Sex/Life Season 2 is the reason why she's in Toronto.

This is great news for Sex/Life fans. Hopefully, we'll see more behind-the-scenes photos soon. With production reportedly already going, it's likely that Netflix will release Season 2 by the end of this year.
