The steamy series first premiered in June 2021 with eight episodes, and it became one of the most-talked-about shows, mostly thanks to a naughty viral scene. In September 2021, Netflix renewed the show for Season 2, and now, the streamer has announced the newcomers and returning cast members.

Newcomers include Cleo Anthony (She's Gotta Have It), Craig Bierko (UnREAL), Dylan Bruce (Orphan Black), Darius Homayoun (Succession), and Wallis Day (Batwoman). They will play all new roles in Sex/Life Season 2.

As previously announced, the leading cast will return, including Shahi as Billie Connelly, Adam Demos as Brad Simon, Mike Vogel as Cooper Connelly, and Margaret Odette as Sasha Sno.

In addition, Li Jun Li and Jonathan Sadowski will return in their recurring roles as Devon and Francesca, respectively.

The Sex/Life Season 2 cast will be accompanied an equally talented creative team, including Stacy Rukeyser, who will serve as showrunner, creator, writer, and executive producer alongside Jordan Hawley and Academy Award-winning producer J. Miles Dale (Shape of Water, The Strain, Nightmare Alley).

Thanks to the first season's successful run, clocking in 67 million household views during its first month on Netflix, fans are sure to get hyped by the news of the second season's cast additions.

Sex/Life Season 2 is currently in production in Toronto, Canada. There is currently no official release date for the new season. You can read more details about Sex/Life Season 2 here.
