After the ending of See You in My 19th Life, fans have been wondering if the series will be getting a Season 2.
In See You in My 19th Life, Ban Ji-eum is a woman who can remember her past lives. As her eighteenth life is cut short due to an accident, Ji-eum tries to reconnect with a man from that life in her nineteenth life.
While the show has a heartfelt ending, it does leave some questions unanswered. And we would likely get our answers if the show would be getting a Season 2.

Will There Be a Season 2 of See You in My 19th Life?
As of writing, See You in My 19th Life has not been renewed for a second season. There’s no news yet on whether See You in My 19th Life will be getting a Season 2.
Considering that Korean dramas usually do not get a second season despite a show’s success and ratings, it is likely that there will be no See You in My 19th Life Season 2.
Not having another season is usually because the story has been completed and there’s nothing more to be told, or the show’s creators simply want to leave the ending as it is (a cliffhanger ending, for example).
In See You in My 19th Life’s case, it appears that everything’s final. We’re left with the first season’s ending, and it’s up to the viewers to make their own conclusions as to what would happen next.
While the finale leaves us viewers with some questions, we would likely not be getting our answers in another season.

What Will See You in My 19th Life Season 2 Be About?
See You in My 19th Life Season 2 could explore Ji-eum and Seo-ha’s life together after Ji-eum lost her memories.
With Ji-eum ultimately choosing to put an end to remembering her past lives, this, in turn, resulted in her losing her memories of the people from her past lives.
So, her lover Seo-ha, her sister Cho-won, and her niece/aunt Ae-gyeong are now strangers to her. But even though Ji-eum lost her memories, she didn’t lose her loved ones.
The finale showed us that Seo-ha, Cho-won, and Ae-gyeong were looking for ways to be in Ji-eum’s life again.
The episode ended with Seo-ha trying to recruit Ji-eum to join the MI Hotel marketing team. And since Ji-eum was uncertain if she should join the team, Seo-ha suggested that they should date instead.
So, See You in My 19th Life Season 2 could show us how Ji-eum and Seo-ha would find their way back to each other again. After all, Seo-ha did promise that he wouldn’t leave Ji-eum alone even after she loses her memories.
He also said that he would go to her just like how she came back to him. So, it would be interesting to see how this story unfolds in Season 2.
Additionally, Season 2 could also give us more information about Kang Min-gi’s past. In Season 1, we only saw Kang Min-gi’s past from Ji-eum’s perspective, so it would be nice to know more about Kang Min-gi and his past in a different light.
We could also see more of Cho-won and Do-yun’s romance, as the show’s second lead couple only got together in the last episode.
While it is unlikely that See You in My 19th Life would be getting another season, anything can happen. After all, in some rare cases, there have been Korean dramas that have been renewed for second seasons.
