While the chemistry between Ji-eum and Seo-ha, the main couple in See You in My 19th Life, is strong and clear, fans have come to love the show’s second lead couple too. So, do Cho-won and Do-yun end up together in See You in My 19th Life?

Yoon Cho-won is a landscape architect and Ji-eum’s sister in her eighteenth life. Ha Do-yun is Seo-ha’s secretary and best friend.

Throughout the series, we learn that both of them like each other, but there are obstacles in the way of their romance.

What Happened to Cho-won and Do-yun?

While Ji-eum was initially under the impression that her sister in her eighteenth life likes Seo-ha, we learn that Cho-won actually likes Do-yun.

Unfortunately for Cho-won, when she confesses to Do-yun that she likes him, he initially doesn’t accept her feelings. After Cho-won deduces that Do-yun has feelings for her, Do-yun admits that he likes her, but he just won’t date her.

Do-yun later makes it clear that he has no intention of being in a relationship with Cho-won. While he likes Cho-won, he says that not all people who like each other date.

He also apologizes for acting in a way that confused Cho-won and kept her hopes up.

We find out that Do-yun’s reason for not wanting to be with Cho-won has something to do with their differences in financial status.

He explains that when he’s with Seo-ha, people gossip more about him than his friend. They gossip about how much they have compared to him and drag him down like he’s nothing.

While he’s used to such treatment, it doesn’t mean he’s fine with it. So, if he chooses to be with Cho-won, people would continue talking about him.

Do-yun then tells Cho-won that they should stop what they’re doing. This hurts Cho-won, and she leaves crying.

Later on, Do-yun’s brother meets with Cho-won and reveals that he heard her conversation with Do-yun that night.

Do-jin reveals that Do-yun cried after Cho-won left, and that’s when he knew that his brother must really like her. This leaves Cho-won in tears because she didn’t know Do-yun liked her as much as she liked him.

Do Cho-won and Do-yun End Up Together?

Cho-won and Do-yun end up together in See You in My 19th Life. Do-yun decides to let go of his fears and pursue Cho-won. In the finale, we see that Cho-won and Do-yun are happy and in love.

In episode 11, Cho-won tells Ji-eum that probably it’s destined for certain relationships not to work out. She tells Ji-eum that it’s time for her to let go as it is the right thing to do.

So, Ji-eum calls Do-yun and tells him that if Cho-won really lets him go for the last time, it will be him who won’t be able to let her go. Seo-ha then tells Do-yun to stop mulling things over, not to be scared, and just do it.

In episode 12, Cho-won gives Do-yun flowers as a last gift and a goodbye. But before Cho-won leaves, Do-yun admits that he still wants to hold on to her.

He then says that people would talk, and while he may be used to it, that may be new for Cho-won. Cho-won responds that she doesn’t care about what other people will say.

They hug, and Do-yun tells Cho-won that he likes her a lot. Towards the end of the episode (after Ji-eum loses her memories), we see that Do-yun and Cho-won continue to date and enjoy being together.

Do-yun tells Cho-won that she stands out from everything else, and they kiss. Later on, after Cho-won “finds” Ji-eum at a shopping mall and befriends her, she leaves along with Do-yun.

So, Cho-won and Do-yun get their happy ending as they end up together in See You in My 19th Life.
