Secret Invasion: New Set Photos Show Unexpected Connection to Hawkeye

One of the highlights of the MCU series Hawkeye is the in-universe's Broadway musical Rogers: The Musical where we got a glimpse of it during the first episode as we saw Clint Barton and his kids watching it in the audience. The musical made its return in the finale where they showed a full performance of "Save the City" during the mid-credits scene. Now, it looks like the musical is making its return in the MCU soon.

A new batch of set photos from Secret Invasion in Liverpool Street station is currently surfacing online where a poster for the West End production of Rogers: The Musical is spotted. You can also see legendary comic book writers Jack Kirby and Joe Simon credited as the producers of the musical which is definitely a cool easter egg for Marvel fans. You can check the photos below from Twitter user @phil_pott:

This isn't the first time that a reference to Rogers: The Musical is spotted in another MCU project outside Hawkeye. You can also spot billboards of the musical during the earlier part of Spider-Man: No Way Home when Spider-Man and MJ were swinging across New York City. In the case of Secret Invasion, it looks like the musical is making its transfer to the West End theater. It is unknown though if the musical itself will actually make an appearance in the series.

It is fun to see easter eggs like this as it adds to the evidence that all MCU films and TV shows are connected (which we all already know). It also looks like Rogers: The Musical will be a recurring easter egg during Phase Four in the MCU and it won't be surprising if we'll see more advertisements of it in the background in any future MCU films or TV shows that are set in Earth.

There's a lot of anticipation right now to Secret Invasion as it will focus on Nick Fury and Talos dealing with the Skrulls that have infiltrated all aspects of life on Earth. Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, and Cobie Smulders are reprising their respective MCU roles. They are joined by franchise newcomers Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Carmen Ejogo, Killian Scott, and Christopher McDonald.
