I think we can all agree that the entire premise of Secret Invasion is already quite terrifying but it turns out, Skrulls in their regular form aren't the only ones threatening the planet.
The second episode of the Phase Five series just planted the seeds for the arrival of a greater and more menacing force — the Super-Skrulls and how the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings them to the fold will make your respective jaws drop.
Turns out, Gravik, the leader of the Skrull resistance against humans has been planning the creation of the formidable creature and he already has the secret formula for it to come to fruition.
Secret Invasion Episode 2 Plants Seeds for Arrival of Super-Skrull
As G'iah was exploring the Skrull Council's database, she stumbled upon classified information, including every Skrull's DNA and shockingly, “harvest DNA samples” from Groot, Cull Obsidian, a Frost Beast, and Extremis.
Gravik would then enter the scene but fortunately for G'iah, she was able to close the database before he got extra suspicious.
While the episode doesn't exactly confirm what the DNA samples are for, it doesn't take a genius to connect the dots and come to the conclusion that it's all part of Gravik's grand scheme to create a Super-Skrull and chances are, he'll be the first of many superpowered Skrulls who will wreak havoc on Earth.

The Super-Skrulls officially made their debut in the comics in Fantastic Four #18 in 1963, with Kl’rt being the first of many Super-Skrulls. Their arrival in the MCU comes at a perfect time as the franchise is set to introduce the First Family in the next couple of years.
