Second Trailer for Shane Black's The Predator is Great but Spoilery

The second trailer for Shane Black's The Predator has arrived and it's even better than the teaser released a few months ago, though some might say it's a bit too spoilery. It does a great job at presenting the film's premise better since the first one was basically "a child accidentally brings Predators to Earth by playing with a toy ship."

We get a lot more action here, as well as some footage of Boyd Holbrook's gang of mercs, who pose just as much of a threat as the alien hunter. From what can be seen, it looks like they will have an interesting dynamic with the other characters, though the trailer does try to make Boyd's character the "nice" one by having him share scenes with a kid.

Now we'll get to Spoiler territory since the trailer does have a huge revelation that might have been more effective if it were a surprise.

As the trailer reaches its end, we see that the Predator most fans are familiar with isn't the main threat after all. While it still kills plenty of people, it is soon taken out by an even bigger Predator that doesn't even bother wearing the mask. This new version of the alien might be why this movie is simply called The Predator and it's a reveal that might tick off some fans.

The Predator hits theaters on September 14.
