Remember when Gwyneth Paltrow forgot that she was in Spider-Man: Homecoming? That's not the only thing that has slipped the Iron Man star's mind. Sebastian Stan revealed that Paltrow had also forgotten that they have met several times before while working on at least two Marvel Cinematic Universe flicks.
Stan recently shared some pictures on his Instagram account that confirmed he had attended the Valentino Fall 2019 Couture Collection show in Paris. The photos show Stan with Valentino Garavani and current creative director Pier Paolo Piccioli and their other guests which included Paltrow. However, it was the last part of Stan's caption that had people laughing. Check out the post below.
"Also glad I got to reintroduce myself to @gwynethpaltrow for the third time. We are in the same film..." Stan wrote.
Stan and Paltrow were both in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. While they didn't share a scene in Infinity War, Bucky Barnes did attend Tony Stark's funeral in Endgame and they both fought during the climactic battle. In Paltrow's defense, both scenes were filled with way too many people so she may have missed out on who was around while they were shooting.
Interestingly, Stan isn't the only MCU star who claims Paltrow doesn't remember them. Tom Holland had previously pointed out that the Shakespeare In Love star forgot his name and simply called him "the other guy" in an Instagram post.
We're not sure if Stan is joking about the whole thing but we're certainly hoping he doesn't have to reintroduce himself for the fourth time.
