Sean Gunn is Still Hopeful for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

It seems like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 isn't really a priority for Marvel Studios right now, especially after Disney fired James Gunn for tweets he made years ago. Actors like Dave Bautista and Chris Pratt have stated that they would still be using the Suicide Squad director's script but there have been no official dates for production.

Sean Gunn, the brother of James who played Kraglin in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, was recently asked about the movie's status and if it would continue. Gunn told Variety that he hopes the film will be made since the cast are like family and are willing to work together, despite what happened to his brother. Sean is hoping that things work out and so do we.

Here is Gunn's full statement:

"I don't know exactly how that's all gonna work but I feel like we are going to make the third movie, I'm excited to make it, I think it's a disservice to the fans if we didn't make it and I know the people who worked on theGuardiansmovies are really a family, and we're gonna come together and make the best movie we can regardless of who's in charge.I just have this feeling everything's gonna work itself out."

We'll probably see the Guardians in Avengers: Endgame, which will mark the end of an era for the current phase of the MCU. Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26.
