Sean Bean Says A Stark Kid Could Take The Iron Throne In Game Of Thrones Season 8

He might no longer be a part of Game of Thrones yet Sean Bean is still rooting for his TV children in the show's final season. The Lord of the Rings star bets that one of the Stark children will end up on the Iron Throne in Season 8.

Bean recently spoke to Mashable about the future of the Stark kids. Not surprisingly, the real Ned Stark has high hopes for the character's youngest daughter.

"Who's left? Jon Snow is left, isn't he? But Arya would have to be it. Yeah, Arya will last — maybe she'll be on the throne," Bean declared.

We're not surprised by Bean's choice here. Arya has proven to be one of the strongest characters on Game of Thrones. She has survived all odds and ultimately became a Faceless Man, a talent that she could use in the final season. However, we're not quite sure that Arya would be interested in ruling over the Seven Kingdoms.

Bean also confessed that he is happy to be a part of the show even though his character was immediately killed off in the first season.

"I'm proud of all that, though. It's great to be part of a phenomena [sic], establish this character and then he's there forever," Bean stated.

He might not be returning in Game of Thrones, but Bean has other things to worry about. He has been cast as the Elusive Target in Hitman 2.

Find out if Bean is correct about Arya ruling over Westeros when Game of Thrones Season 8 finally premieres on HBO in Summer 2019.
