Scott Derrickson Teases Doctor Strange 2

Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson returned to Twitter yesterday, and it looks like the filmmaker brought with him a nice little tease for what might be Doctor Strange 2.

For those who haven't been keeping up online, Twitter has been rather toxic towards celebrities and filmmakers during the past few years. Many Hollywood personalities have been taking time off the social media platform because of the insults and harassment they receive from netizens, and one of those personalities includes Derrickson. Though he remained active on Instagram, the director decided to quit Twitter back in November 2017, nothing that "Twitter is hell."

After more than a year of staying away from the social media platform, the filmmaker decided to make a return to the site, and a few hours after reactivating his account, Derrickson retweeted a photo of a script.

Though the title of the script doesn't directly read Doctor Strange 2 and instead has the words Domo Arigato Demi Lovato, the script seems to be written by both Derrickson and Robert Cargill – two-thirds of the screenwriting team for the original Doctor Strange.

Of course, the script could be for another film – but then again why would Derrickson caption the photo with the word "tease"?

Right now Marvel doesn't have a sequel to Doctor Strange in its lineup, but with the Marvel Cosmic Universe on the way, we're pretty sure there's going to be room for Doctor Strange 2.
