Scarlett Johansson Reportedly Returning in Another MCU Film After Black Widow

People are already expecting Black Widow to be the last time we'll ever see Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff. But is it possible that Nat could be brought back in yet another Marvel Cinematic Universe flick? A new report suggests that there is a way to bring back Black Widow.

It's no secret that Natasha was unexpectedly killed off in Avengers: Endgame so that Clint Barton could take the Soul Stone. The only reason why she's still alive in Black Widow is that the film takes place in the past. On the other hand, there's an upcoming MCU movie that could change what happened in Endgame.

Fans have already been excited about Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness especially since it will feature the Sorceror Supreme teaming up with Scarlet Witch. After all, Wanda Maximoff is known for being able to manipulate reality in the comic books. So is there any chance that we will find a multiverse where Natasha is alive and well? We Got It Covered believes so and it could mean that Johansson might reprise her role as Nat in the film.

The possible return of Natasha is something that some fans are hoping for. However, it could also change Nat's story arc in the MCU. Personally, I would love to see Johansson continue to play Black Widow but her return could invalidate the sacrifice she made in Endgame. With that in mind, we're hoping this doesn't happen in Doctor Strange 2.

For now, this is all based on speculations so it's best to take it with a grain of salt. In the meantime, Black Widow hits theaters on May 1.
