It has taken a while for the new Saint Seiya anime to get a continuation, but fans can finally expect one soon. That’s because Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac - Battle for Sanctuary Part 2 got a new trailer that revealed its 2024 release.
This next installment in Toei Animation’s latest Saint Seiya anime series is effectively the third season, though its official title calls it Part 2 of the second season.
This naming convention may be confusing, but what is clear is that the series will get a worldwide release.
Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac - Battle for Sanctuary Part 2 Gets New Teaser
Shonen Jump is home to some of the biggest shonen titles in the world, including the likes of Dragon Ball and Naruto. It may not get as much attention now, but Saint Seiya is one of Jump’s most iconic titles.
Even though the original manga ended way back in 1990, the franchise continues to get new projects.
For instance, there was the live-action film starring Mackenyu (Zoro from One Piece), which was released earlier this year.
Now, fans can expect another new project, and it’s the latest season in the Knights of the Zodiac 3DCG anime series that began in 2019. You can watch the new teaser for it here:
There’s no official announcement yet, but from the looks of it, the voice cast from the first two seasons will return for this new installment.
The previous seasons' VAs include Masakazu Morita (Ichigo in Bleach) as Pegasus Seiya, Katsuyuki Konishi (Tengen in Demon Slayer) as Ikki Phoenix, and Fumiko Orikasa (Riza in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) as Saori Kido.

Saint Seiya - Battle for Sanctuary Part 2 Reveals 2024 Release
The Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac CG anime began with the first season, which was released in 2019 on Netflix.
It took some time, but the show finally got renewed for a new season, though it was not released on Netflix. Instead, this new season was streamed on Crunchyroll.
After the second season, the anime was confirmed to get a follow-up, but fans won’t need to worry about it shifting to yet another streaming platform.
Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac - Battle for Sanctuary Part 2 is set to be released on Crunchyroll sometime in 2024.
This new season will be available in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the CIS region.
