Ryan Reynolds Reportedly Wants Deadpool Appearance in Spider-Man 3

Ever since Disney purchased 21st Century Fox and acquired the studio's film and television properties, Marvel fans have been anticipating the arrival of the X-Men, Fantastic Four, Deadpool, and the studio's other mutant heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The X-Men have always been a popular group, and Deadpool's been a major hit with Ryan Reynolds playing the Merc with a Mouth. It's no surprise to see that fans have been eagerly waiting to see the mutants make their way into the MCU.

While Marvel has yet to announce its plans to integrate the mutants into its Marvel film franchise, there have been numerous X-Men and Deadpool rumors making the rounds online, the most recent of which says that Merc with a Mouth star Ryan Reynolds has been hoping to get into the new Spider-Man movie.

According to a report by We Got This Covered, sources close to Marvel Studios say that Reynolds is pushing for a Deadpool appearance in Spider-Man 3 knowing that the buzz for both characters is an all-time high. The Deadpool star is allegedly hoping to have a cameo appearance in the film where Deadpool and Spider-Man (Tom Holland) meet.

While a meeting between Deadpool and Spider-Man would make the Marvel fanbase go wild, We Got This Covered says that Marvel is hesitant about making the cameo happen. Spider-Man 3 is already jam-packed even without Deadpool, and Marvel doesn't want to force the Merc with a Mouth into the film's story – though the studio does have big plans for the brassy mutant.
