It goes without saying that the current Marvel Cinematic Universe roster is looking pretty stacked these days but the thing is, we've yet to see some high-profile characters make their way to the franchise. One of which is Johnny Blaze aka Ghost Rider who fans have been campaigning to see for years now. As it stands, it doesn't look like Marvel Studios is in any rush to bring the hell-blazing hero to the MCU but Ryan Gosling's latest confession seems to indicate that his arrival is on the horizon.

The Blade Runner 2049 actor and star of Netflix's upcoming action film The Gray Man recently broke his silence on all years-long rumors claiming he's been in negotiations with Kevin Feige. To those unaware, Ryan is heavily rumored to play the MCU's Nova in a project that is reportedly in development.

While Gosling didn't confirm nor deny whether or not he has spoken with Marvel about a potential role, he did say that the Nova reports are completely false. However, the 41-year-old Canadian star did admit that he'd love to play Ghost Rider given the opportunity. Shockingly enough, fans seem to be divided by the whole idea.

I gotta say, Gosling would be the perfect fit for the Ghost Rider character and he's proven in the past that he could take on virtually any role. Of course, Marvel Studios has yet to announce anything so it's still hard to keep our hopes up but I strongly believe that Gosling's time is now.

Meanwhile, Netflix's The Gray Man will begin streaming on July 15th.
