Russo Brothers Tease New Captain America: Civil War Footage

Captain America: Civil War directors Joe and Anthony Russo decided to tease fans with a new video direct from the sound mixing studio at Disne.

Uploaded via the brothers’ official Facebook account, the new video focuses on the amazing Civil War staff that is making the Marvel movie possible. At first glance, one would perhaps focus on Joe Russo preview of the studio and the staff.

However, more noticeable is a scene from the upcoming movie that’s seemingly being edited in the background. Of course, fans were more interested in this.

The scene shows William Hurt's General Thunderbolt Ross informing The Avengers about the Sokovia Accords. Many fans were also quick to notice The Vision wearing a suit!

Take a look at the video:

The scene doesn’t really show anything we don’t know already and I’m pretty sure the Russo brothers wouldn’t mistakenly spoil any detail of Civil War they didn’t want to reveal in the first place. They’ve managed to keep a tight lid on Spider-Man’s appearance in the film after all. In any case, it’s still pretty cool to see this light and fun preview from the two directors.

Captain America: Civil War Official Synopsis:

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.  Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd and Frank Grillo, with William Hurt and Daniel Brühl.  Anthony & Joe Russo are directing with Kevin Feige producing. Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Victoria Alonso, Patricia Whitcher, Nate Moore and Stan Lee are the executive producers. The screenplay is by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely. Get ready to pick a side and join the nonstop action playing out on two fronts.

Captain America: Civil War is slated for release on May 6.
