Avengers: Infinity War certainly had a lot of characters who all fought for some screen time. However, Joe and Anthony Russo have just confirmed that there were plans to add yet another interesting comic book hero in the film. Unfortunately, the Avengers 4 directors were unsure how they would introduce Beta Ray Bill.
The Russo brothers recently shared some interesting secrets during a Q&A session (via Slashfilm). Interestingly, one of the things the directors confirmed was their plans to bring Beta Ray Bill into Infinity War. Take a look at the post below.
"Beta Ray Bill has been discussed many times by the Russo Brothers but they could never find a good fit for the story," the outlet confirmed.
This is certainly an interesting revelation considering that there were speculations that Bill would be a part of the movie. Fans had previously assumed that the Korbinite would pop up to lend Thor his hammer after Mjolnir's destruction.
Bill would have been a great addition in Infinity War since Thor really needed a powerful ally with a war hammer after the massacre of the Asgardians. Although we're glad that the Odinson ended up bonding with Rocket and Groot to create Stormbreaker, Bill would've been proof that Asgard still has a few survivors.
But is there any chance that Bill will actually show up in Avengers 4? It's still too early to tell. Nevertheless, the Korbinite's introduction would certainly be a welcome one for comic book fans.
Avengers 4 will hit theaters on May 3, 2019.
